I see Core Graphics code-- familiar to us Carbonistas-- all over the 
Cocoa world. Many of the headers have yet to be translated for FB, 
but now would probably be a very good time to begin converting your 
QuickDraw code into Quartz.

In my dreams I would like to see FB's BASIC underpinnings rewritten 
into Cocoa-- a BASIC interpreter built on Cocoa foundations. In a 
best case scenario, it would all us to use Cocoa xibs and blocks of 
Objective-C the way we now use Carbon nibs and blocks of C.

For the record, I believe procedural BASIC could be written atop OOP. 
In fact, an interesting challenge would be to write TinyBasic in 
Objective-C similar to they way it's been done here (where you can 
see the source code for the entire language):
