     On Mon, 7 Feb 2011 21:10:12 +1300 Robert Purves wrote in
a thread "FB 5.4.8 Bug report" that a certain bug has been
pinpointed and "will be fixed in FB 5.5.1".

Since there has been nothing in this thread recently (say in
February 2011), to indicate what this is all about, you may
well have to pick up the thread in the January 2011 archives
at:

         http://freegroups.net/groups/futurebasic/

Unfortunately, list digest recipients are not being reminded
of this archive URL in the header of the FB list digests:

   To subscribe to the digest, e-mail:

   To unsubscribe from the digest, e-mail:

     I therefor suggest that:

   --- FB list mom Walter Lenk should request of list host
"associate.com" that the above archive URL appear somehow
in associates' FB list digest headers.

   --- someone should tell us whether the above URL is
sufficiently obvious to ORDINARY FB list subscribers.

   --- in citing a message from another month of the FB
list, each contributor should also cite its date.


     FutureBasic (=FB) is a magical (and free!) probe from
the glorious past of the 5 decade old BASIC language. It is
now hitchhiking on the C, C++, Objectice C language family,
and bravely heading into an unknown Future. Hang on tight!

PS1.  For the years =< 2009 (but not beyond) there is an
alternative archive edited by me:

    http://topo.math.u-psud.fr/~slc/fb/

It includes material going back a couple of years farther
than the  associate archive. Archiving was for me a guerilla
combat against corruption and noise.  Hopefully, associate's
improving archive editing technology is adequate.  Contact me
if you run into a problem with years >= 2010; some of my old
technology might help in a pinch.
