Thanks Bernie. I have EF.  Functionality is similar but speed is not.
A content search for 'kEventText' on my FB folder ( which contains source dating back years ) took a full 10 to 15 seconds with EF. While EF was running I launched QuiXample and it produced the same answer in 1.4 seconds ( before EF finished ). Given QuiXample is running via emulation, this is even more impressive.

There is no time in my current schedule to work on upgrading QuiXample but I’m hoping Alain will donate the source at least to the team for a time when someone(or multiple someones-- not necessarily me ) might have time to review and rewrite. As Alain wrote ( and thank you Alain for taking the time to explain ), it is clear the entire UI will need a rewrite but it compares with EF support my feeling the QuiXample search engine is worth saving( or at least further investigation ).
