Compact Pro will compress a file to a PC disk, so long as the compressed file fits
on to single disk. If the compressed file has to be segmented onto a second disk
then Mr Freeze will hit your Mac. I haven't tried combination Mac & PC disks
though, as suggested above.

Moral, always keep plenty of formated Mac disks about or if in a pinch do a trial
compaction to your hard drive to see if it will fit (then just drag it on any way
if it will).
