This is, I'm sure, not good news for anyone out here in vacuum land, but we would be seriously remiss if we failed to acknowledge the herculean effort that has been put into this FBtoC thing. It must have been a labour of, if not love, then at least benevolence, for those of us stuck on our favourite computer and language.
I can't begin to thank you for what you've done, and will continue to do.
For those who think that this is The End, it's not. Among the many virtues of FBtoC, we all have (if we but knew what to do with it), our wisest moments translated into C and running in XCode, from which point anything in the future may happen. I'm, without doubt, the least competent among the listers, and know not whereof I speak, but I strongly suspect that the sun will rise in the morning.
Note, too, that we got this far without spending a cent (except in the early days) on FB. Having ridden on the coattails of The Team as we have, we can do nothing less than appreciate what we've been given.
Amen.
(In the secular sense.)
