Before it happens, if you ever suffer "Compilation Failed" errors, that's usual an older PCH issue with build_temp folder after a change of SDK or other setting. Delete build_temp, and run as usual.

Also, if you suddenly develop the Developer/ path issue again with some example or project you are trying to run, that's fixable by re- supplying the right path in the Advanced field.
 
You'll get a hang for what particular errors mean.
