But as for nouns: you could check for an article in front (the = der/die/das) of a word - this could take care for the first 25% of occurences of nouns - it also might be completely wrong, as there might be adjectives associated to the noun and placed between the article and the noun. It indeed would be difficult to find the words to be capitalzed logically, as we (germans) have very strict rules which require a lot of background knowledge of the language to write correct german.
