I'd like to get the icon for the current front process. I've gotten a process info record using GETPROCESSINFO and have a few routines that someone gave us for getting icons from the Finder desktop database. Trouble is, the OS keeps returning error -35 (volume not found) when I pass it the volRefNum% that is found in the FSpec record for the process (as pointed to by the pAppSpecPtr& field of the process info record). Is there an easy way to get the icon, or do I have to bury my head in file manager manuals for a few hours? I like the Mac, but the file system drives me crazy. ____________________ wave(Toronto, Canada) Genius is 50% inspiration, 50% perspiration, and 50% having the right tools.
