Hi,

I got this very disturbing feedback from a user of my Statsimple program:

> I can't get "Import..." to work. When I try to import data from a

I don't (yet) have access to a computer with OS 8.1 and I'm at a loss.
I've tested this program on systems from 6.0.7 to 7.5.1 and the
"Import..." feature works fine. Hence I suspect there is some feature of
Mac OS 8.1 that is invoking the call to MacEasyOpen when my program makes
the call to open a "TEXT" file.

Any source of enlightenment will be much appreciated.
