Does the STAZ TIFF Image Filter allow you to read and save TIFF files with LZW
compression? 

I believe Unisys Corporation has a patent on this type of compression. I have
had my own code for years that would read and save uncompressed TIFF files but
I never tried to implement LZW compression because Unisys wanted a license fee
for every program that used LZW compression.

I now have need of a lossless way to compress image files. Can the STAZ TIFF
Image Filter allow you to save compressed image files without paying a license
fee to Unisys?
