Hi all.

In trying to resolve an alias record via the HFS Util FLTR file(for you pg
savvy people)

Anyway, It seems that I can return the correct filename, and ParID seems
ok, but the vRefNum is returned as -1.

So I guess I need to convert the ParID to a VRef...

I'm sorry, chris and rick especially, I'm sure you told me how to get this
already, but I had to compress my in-box last week (at a whopping 22M), and
I only have appx 13M available on my main hd now...

It took me a while to figure out exactly what to fill into the makealias
and usealias functions to get them to work; that I'd already have to have
another resource file open.

Anyway, I think it's working pretty well now if I can get the vref thing
figured out...
