If would be nice if we had an FB program that could do the same. I was hoping that someone may have written a FB program that would check for the presence of hardware. I do remember a program (but not the name of the program) that would scan your machine and tell you all sorts of details (including if Ethernet cards were present), but I don't what happened to it.
