I am looking for reasons that a window is not active until I click on
it.


  1. Window is created with 3 edit fields
  2. in the refresh a graphic is added and text added to the last field
     and highlighted
  3. I start typing but nothing happens in the highlighted field
  4. I have a fn filterkeys intercepting the editfiled keypresses
  5. it is the top window of 2

I have a similar set up in another part of the program that works fine.
Suggestions?
