The system switcher utility is incuded on the
French system 8.5 CDs, look at yours (I have a feeling
it was on the system 8 disks too.)

A word of warning: don't use system switching 
utilities nor tricks if one of your connected hard
drives is formatted HFS+. You won't be able to use it.
