Dear Hope Chest friends,

I am having major computer problems at the moment, due to extremely low
disk space and memory.   I have a very hard time getting into my e-mail
account or anything else, and am grateful I was able to do this a few
minutes ago.  Since I can't reliably count on getting into it again, I
wanted to let you know that I may not be able to read or respond to
anything you send me any time soon.  Please do NOT send me any PayPal
payments for books, because I won't be able to pick them up until further
notice.

Given our current budget status, I am hoping we will NOT have to buy a
new computer to replace this one (which is quite old by computer
standards), but this is actually the most likely scenario.   I can't even
print out one page spreadsheets or short e-mail messages.  The children
and I are heavy computer users.  I personally have a hard time
functioning without one, as I am very scatterbrained otherwise.  Say a
prayer for me!

On top of this, one of our breakers blew the other day and needs to be
fixed, probably by an electrician.  At the moment, my computer cord is
stretched across a doorway to the only nearby outlet that will work! EEK!
