Orphans First Prayer Requests Dec.23rd 2004
Dear Prayer Partners,
Christmas is upon us and it’s beautiful to know that we are making a
difference in the lives of so many poor children by showing that JESUS IS
REAL---thanks to generous givers! However, we are still waiting for funds to meet all
the demands to give gifts to orphans all over the world. Thank God, the
Russian Christmas is celebrated in January so we still have a little time left.
Please pray for us to “wrap up” this project. So, far, we have sent out
funds to the following places and some have begun their project (see the exciting
report I received from Kazakhstan below).
Places & Countries helped thus far
Almaty, Kazakhstan
Baku, Azerbaijan
Kalingrad, Russia
St.Pete, Russia
Parres, Mexico
Guntur, India
25 children in Juvenile Hall, & others in Mexico
Albania (money sent from France)
Some African countries ( “ “ “ “ “ “ “).

Places still needing our help & waiting for the provision to buy gifts
Moscow, Russia – gifts for 450 children in orphanages & 50 or so on the
Siberia - & & & 370 kids
St.Pete, Russia – the orphanage still lacks $ 8000 to send all the children
to camp.
Poland & Ukraine – giving to the children we support & the street children
Matuela, Mexico – help towards the gifts for the 260 poor children.

Report from Almaty, Kazakhstan
Here are some pictures from the Christmas Party we had at the church for the
20 9th graders from Orphanage #1. Sorry about the quality. I had to scan
them because no one there had a digital camera that day.
I just finished all the shopping for the Christmas project. You wouldn't
believe the stories I can tell about these shopping experiences. We spent almost
two hours this morning at an outdoor wholesale market in minus 10 degree
weather. We spent over $1000 on soaps, hand creams, deodorant, etc. We were the
hit of the market! Tomorrow we will begin putting the gifts together.
Sunday AM we will distribute a few gifts to the poor families in the church.
Then, Monday we will go to the women's prison. Then, the two orphanages will
be on Jan. 4th and 5th. This is OK because Orthodox Christmas is not until
the 7th..
God Bless You and all of OF, Merry Christmas, - Pam Greaves"
Thank you so much for your prayers for the children. May you have a
blessed Christmas,
