Subject: Re: [PastorsForum] Contradiction?
Can someone be a member of a local visible church and not be saved?
Yes
Can someone be truly saved and not be a member of a local visible church?
Yes
Does church membership always equal those who are truly saved? Are they
totally different? or is there some overlap?
No
Remember God sees what we cannot see (into the hearts of men). But just
because we can't see it doesn't mean that it does not exist. In this
way, the true Church (true believers with a true heart for God) which
God sees is in a certain way invisible to us. Hence, the Invisible Church.
They may be saved and not part of the church but part of the Family of God.
Peace,
Steve
