Dear Pastor Warner:

I wholeheartedly agree.  Having come out of a "holiness background",
feelings were an important factor (even though they were sometimes
unbiblical).  The philosophy I have developed is: the Bible is my sole
rule of faith and practice.  When I come across passages which are
difficult to understand, I trust the Lord to reveal the truth to me now,
or later, and then go on with my life.  The Holy Spirit is our Teacher,
and we are admonished to "try (test) the spirits, to see if they are from
God. 1 John  4:1.

        "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether
they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the
world."
