Sixth child! Kevin, I'll put you at the top of my prayer list! (tee-hee)
Seriously, congratulations brother. If Deana and I could have, we would have
had a house full. She had to have a hystorectomy (forgive me if I didn't
spell that right) after our second. We may adopt later.

Anyway, brother I will be praying for you. Have you ever pastored before?

The best advice I can give was given to me by the DOM of the first
association I served in. I asked him what I could do besides visitation to
get people to come. He said, "whatever you do, take it slow, people are slow
to change." Whoa, boy was he right about that.

In Christ,

Gentlemen,

I'd ask for your prayers for two pressing concerns of mine.

First, my wife is scheduled to deliver our sixth child this Friday.
Please pray that the surgery goes well and that the child is delivered
safe and healthy. Also, please pray that God will call this child
into a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age and
that He will use him or her mightily in His Kingdom.

Secondly, I've decided to candidate for the position of "weekend
pastor" at one of three churches in Southern Indiana. The churches
each have about 50 members and are about 90-110 miles from the
seminary and our home. I really desire to be more active in ministry
and preaching, but, if I am accepted, I will still be going to
seminary and working two jobs. Please pray that God will give me
wisdom and a certain knowledge of His calling.

I sincerely thank you for your prayers and any wisdom you may offer.

Grace and peace,
Kevin Sigafoos
