Brother Tittle,

I have no objection to you using the title "Dr." in the medical profession,
after all ... that is what you are.  I think it would be dishonest and
prideful for you to try and transfer that title into the pastorate.

How about this one:

I am very close to a man that has conferred UPON HIMSELF a doctorate of
divinity ... and he tries to pass that title off in the medical field.  A
big fat lawsuit from the medical field, and he backed off a little.  I see
he is back to it again.  How messed up is that!?

I must have missed some posts about this "Dr." subject discussion, but just
a note to explain myself.  I use the title Dr.  in some of my posts because
not only am I a student of the scripture for the last 35-40 years and pastor
of a local church congregation, I am also a licensed medical professional.
