I am not sure if it is legal but I am not sure it is illegal.  Youtube
posts everything for free and will automatically take down anything that
someone complains is in copyright violation.  Thus, I do believe that it
would be difficult to sue someone if Youtube has it posted and the person
has not sent a cease and desist to them first.
