Our Sunday PM services alternate between afternoon and evening. The 1st
and 3rd Sundays we have a fellowship meal and an afternoon service. The
2nd and 4th we have an evening service. When there is a 5th Sunday
(like this month) we have a Psalm sing in the evening.

In the AM service I do expositional biblical preaching. In the second
service we tend to be more informal and I do more teaching than
preaching. I have been doing a series on the great Creeds and
Confessions of the Christian Faith. Currently going through the
Westminster Confession of Faith. When I finish this though I thought
about taking a bit of a break and doing a series entitled: What Does
the Bible Say About? And I will ask the congregation well ahead of time
to write topics down on a piece of paper and then collect them and each
week I will pick one to present.

We have changed our Wed. program around - we used to alternate one week
bible study, next week prayer meeting and so on. Last year we met in
small group bible studies in different locations every week. That
seemed to work pretty well. Though during the summer months we have not
had much. We had prayer meeting a couple of times and now every other
week I am doing a training course for prospective deacon candidates.

Peace,
Steve
