Brother John,
If we walk around with our eyes closed it is only a matter of time before we
trip and fall.
Yes, some of the messages are, using today's thinking, is 'negative', but
what could be more 'negative' then spending eternity in hell for sin?

Being of Grace does not mean that the law no longer exists, it just means
that the law was fulfilled by Christ and it was His Grace that means we will
not be judged by the law.  He paid the ticket but the speed limit is still
posted.
