I grant that it may or may not have been helpful, but it sounds like the guy was more focused on presenting what he thought was "proper Bible doctrine" than he was sticking with the simple Gospel truths of Love, Forgiveness, and a Suffering Savior who said, "Don't forbid the little ones to come to me, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven." Too often too many become overly focused on making sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed and by so doing, miss the point altogether: Jesus loves us, this we know. For the Bible tells us so." The end. It's not the time to debate eschatological minutia. Bring the Balm and trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest.
