I think that the issue here is again deciding what is cultural and what is not---and how far does it all go? Is the teaching and having authority mean "no pastor, but you can teach under the authority of a pastor"? Does it mean, "Go to you closet, woman!?" While I wish this were as clear as "no man cometh to the Father, but by me" I am no longer convinced it is so simple. That is not to say the truth cannot be known, but it may involve more digging than one might first expect. Blessings, Randy
