I am amazed at the questions that are asked concerning scripture. The women in Paul's day were in a very powerful male culture. Even Jewish, middle east, Roman dominated, government. With that in mind TRY TO INTERPRET WHO Paul was talking to. He was setting them free but wanted reverence in the Church. Do you take the women HAIR THING and put it on your ladies? I know some do but it is because we think the letters were written in New York . All interpretation of scripture should be in light of who it was written to, and in complete agreement with other scripture. We use "God gives and God takes away". Who said it? Look at the rest of the story God rebuked Job later. I thought you went to Bible School where they taught this kind of thing! Rev.
