Answer: We don't know.  It's a mystery. 
Churches that were formed during
the Age of Reason *HATE* mystery.  Oh

fact it's a mystery and beyond the minds 
of simple humans.  Check out the
end of Job when God answers and says 
(basically): "Shut up, sit down and
color.  You Ain't God."
