Greetings from where the Word of God is preached,

Rev. Doc. David wrote-
Jeff, if you are going to argue, guilt by association then let
me share with you and the forum, the entire Mormon group uses the KJV
exclusively with their Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of
Great Price.  That is a real endorsement!  The Jehovah Witnesses used
the KJV up until they wrote their own bible (small b on purpose) the New World
Translation.
*******************************

No guilt by association, just comparing Versions.

Compare any 10 bible versions,

to the NWT

and then to the KJV.

Most will line up verse by verse with the NWT, by this I mean. Verses missing out of the NWT, will be missing out of most, if not all modern version.

However, the verses are still in the KJV.

Let us make another comparsion, please good doctor.

Mark 1 NIV
1The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God.[1]
2It is written in Isaiah the prophet:
"I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way"[2] --
3"a voice of one calling in the desert,
'Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.' "

Mark 1 NLT
1Here begins the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.[1]
2In the book of the prophet Isaiah, God said,
"Look, I am sending my messenger before you,
and he will prepare your way.[2]
3
He is a voice shouting in the wilderness:
`Prepare a pathway for the Lord's coming!
Make a straight road for him!'[3] "

Both NIV and NLT line up with the NWT and saying 'written in Isaiah' or 'book of the prophet Isaiah' ...

However, the KJV says 'written in the prophets' plural. see below

Mark 1 KJV
1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Doctor Rev. David. If you can show me where Isaiah wrote - "Look, I am sending my messenger before you,and he will prepare your way.[2]

I will come to AZ at my cost and let you teach me for a week.

I have given this challegene out to hundreds of JW's. I have yet to have one come back and show me.

Yet, if you look in the KJV, at 'prophets' God's Word tells us more then one. If fact two, that would be Malachi 3:1 and Isaiah 40:3

Have a good day,

Jeff Hallmark,
preaching God's Word
in Canada for 20 years.
