This is an old outline. Fill in the scriptures, there are many. There are many discussion points that can be used for verse 1 "My House. Bro Papa "Jesus and me." There are eight (8) points for the subject "Jesus & Me" found in II Cor. Chapter 5. Verse 1 "MY HOUSE" There are three houses we need to consider: Verse 1 "MY HOUSE" There are three houses we need to consider: 1) My Body--Jesus and me (I Cor. 6:19) 2) My Church-Jesus and me (Heb. 10:25) 3) My Heaven-Jesus and me (John 14:1-4) Verse 3 "MY CLOTHES" At the Bemah seat I will not be naked, I will be clothed in His righteousness. All clothing there will be the same. On earth we categorize people by their clothing. Sex, age, class of person, clothes are a universal language. I'll be clothed in His righteousness, it will be Jesus and me. Verse 7 "MY WALK" My walk is a narrow passage way which leads unto life. Mat 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (that is narrow) and I am narrow minded. I do not walk alone it is always Jesus and me. Verse "MY APPEARANCE" I have made many appearances in my life, I. e. at birth, my wedding, in court, etc. And many people were around at those appearances, but at this appearance identified in verse 10 it will be Jesus and me. According to this verse and Romans 14:10, it is guaranteed that I will appear before Jesus Christ. Verse 17 "MY CHANGE" I do not live for myself, I live for Him, because He is my companion "I am a new creature". Rom 12:1 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Rom 8:21 (KJV) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (no bondage to the flesh) Gal 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. It is Jesus and me. Verses 18&19 "MY MINISTRY" (WITNESSING) The first reconciliation is divine, it is the atonement, made by Jesus Christ. (we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.) The second reconciliation is a ministry given to the born-again Christian by God. (Which means to restore the lost to God). The third reconciliation is restoration of the lost by the Word of God. (which is witnessing. Who does the witnessing?) Jesus and me. Verse 20 "MY TITLE" My title is Ambassador, I am a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Jesus and me) Verse 21 "MY SAVIOUR" It is Jesus and me by Faith CONCLUSION: It takes an attitude of sorrow and repentance to renew a wounded relationship with your companion or friend. So much more should that attitude be toward our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Because He lives in you and cannot leave or forsake you, then when you hurt Him you hurt yourself, and when he is pleased with you , you are pleased with yourself. When you have a peace that passeth all understanding, and joy unspeakable and full of glory, then you will enjoy your companion and friend Jesus Christ. Remember always its not me and Jesus, but Jesus and Me.
