Jeff,
  Don't all Christians baptize new converts? I get the sense that you
are 'toying' so here is a small sampling of my response and you can do
the rest. I am not about to step into this hornets nest.

Acts 2:38-39 38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of
you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins;
and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 "For the promise
is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as
the Lord our God will call."

Acts 16:14-15 14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a
seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord
opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. 15 And when she and
her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged
me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she
persuaded us.

Peace brother,
Steve
