How can you tell they are "grasping the truth"? Is that when they sit
on the edge of their seats?

When people begin to grasp the truth the Scriptures are presenting when
you are preaching them - that's when the meeting gets good. Until then,
everybody is in a state of instruction. When they get the truth, then
they can enjoy all the ramifications!

We have a low-level shouting church.
There are about 5 Irish men who shout Amen mildly. It has been tough for
them to get out of the mould that the catholic Irish society has ruined
them men with. Our men love preaching, and would stay all day if we had
it! I have three preaching meetings a day, and several of the men go
with me all day long! The ladies don't know about hankie waving yet.
They do sit on the edge of their sit when it gets good though!
