Can someone tell me which old hymns of the church, when written, were 
composed using bar & tavern tunes so that the congregation would know 
the tunes.  I have heard several were actually written that way but 
can't remember which ones. 

And remember that our Hymns of old were once considered contemporary 
Christian music by someone.
