But not to be confuesed with the plunger that sits next to my john where I
go {that P word you greek guys were talking about} {that word that sounds
like the sound of a snake with a P in the beginning that is not silent}
tinkle.
In any event that is ur-analysis and my analysis as well.

Actually Clint, we already settled this long ago. The word, "baptizw", is
the Greek word that means to plunge or submerge beneath or to dip under. The
word "Baptize" is a transliteration NOT a translation. With that in mind we
affectionately refer to John as the Big Dipper!!!! Or for you, John the
Plunger!

Be careful Pastor David Powell,
There will be a Baptist there. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, not
John the Methodist.

Clint, I love it! I already know what the response will mostly be but I
admire you're asking it anyways! I can't wait until we get to heaven and
people find out there are no Baptists there!

I have a question for you gentelmen;
When I came to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church to accept a call the
Presbytery examined me on all counts of Theology and Doctrine. When they
were satisfied, Presbytery voted and accepted me as a member of Presbytery,
and accepted my call that was offered by the First Presbyterian Church of
Homestead.
I noticed a few of you made the statement of re-baptizing or being baptized
a second time in the Jordan, by a Baptist, that would surely make you a
Baptist.
When the Presbytery accepted me, the accepted me as one who was already
ordained, as a Southern Baptist, and my credentials for the EPC states,
Being Examined, and having been ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the
Southern Baptist Convention, Concord Association, Missouri" would that mean
when I emerse someone you will accept it, or do they need to be dunked
again?
Just a question. I won't break fellowship over your responses.
In His Love and Steadfast Grip
Clint
