OK, you are saying that someone who believe in Modalism could take this 
statement and then use it as a proof text to teach that doctrine. If that 
is what you are saying, then that is what I have been saying all along. 
 You stated that the verse without the definite article could be a 
Pandora's box.   I simply mentioned that it could be a Pandora's box in 
either direction, if take out of context with other scripture.

No!  I use this verse to show that the trinity is alive and real.  It is
a great trinitarian verse, so long as you don't advocate modalism.
