UPDATE ON PERSECUTION IN BHILAI : Alexander MS (37yrs), Amit Kapse (25yrs), K. Ravi (19yrs) and G. Samuel (27yrs) were released on bail after spending 1 week in jail. The judge granted them bail around 4:15pm IST & they were released from jail around 8:30pm IST. Hearts lifted out in joy as our four brothers walked out of the Durg Jail. It was time of rejoicing & praises as our brethren from Bhilai, Durg & surrounding places gathered at the Padmanabhpur Masih Mandli, Durg at 8:45pm IST for a Thanksgiving Service. Tiredness was evident but even more was the joy & peace. Shalu T Ninan & the brethren of the region conveys their heartfelt thanks to all our prayer partners who upheld them in prayers & constantly followed this matter. The four brothers have been arrested on 15th April under Chhattisgarh Freedom of Religion Act 1968 with non-bailable charges. Pray that the legal proceedings would be easy & not complicated. Ranvir Kurre who was attacked on 17 April is also better.
