Recipe: Paul Kirk Kansas City Ribs Bbq Sauce
Yield: 1 servings
1/3 c Dark brown sugar; packed
1/4 c White vinegar; more to taste
2 tb Worcestershire sauce 1 tb Prepared yellow mustard 1 tb Chili powder
1 1/2 ts Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 ts Ground ginger
1/4 ts Ground allspice
1/4 ts Cayenne
1/8 ts Ground mace
2 tb Honey 2 c Tomato ketchup
In a large saucepan, combine all the sauce ingredients. Heat over medium, stirring well to mix and dissolve the spices. Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce, uncovered, for 30 min., stirring occasionally.
