Recipe: Spanish Bean Soup

Yield: 1 Servings

      2 pk Spanish bean soup mix
      2 lg Potatoes; diced
      1 sm Onion; chopped
      1 lb All meat stew; (cut in small
           -- pieces)
      1 lb Ham hocks
      1 lb Smoked sausage; (cut in
           -- small pieces)
           Salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans overnight (8 hours), drain and rinse. Combine all ingredients in large pot, add seasoning from soup mix and 1 1/2 to 2 quarts water. Bring to boil, lower heat to low and cook for at least 3 to 4 hours (until beans are tender). May be cooked in crock-pot or slow cooker. Put on in morning, ready for supper.
