Ingredients:
1 Onion, chopped
1 Stalk Celery, chopped
1/2 Green pepper, chopped
2 Green onion, minced
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 Bay leaf
3/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Cayenne
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Black pepper
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Cumin, ground
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg, Ground
1 Tablespoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Hot sauce
2 Tablespoon(s) Unsalted butter
1/4 Cup(s) Milk
1/4 Cup(s) Ketchup
1/2 Cup(s) Bread Crumbs, Finely Crushed
1 Pound(s) Lean ground beef
8 Ounce(s) Ground pork, lean

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375. Mix the onion, celery, green pepper, green
onions, garlic, bayleaves, salt, cayenne, black pepper, cumin, nutmeg,
Worcestershiresauce, hot pepper sauce in a medium bowl. Melt butter in
a heavy 10 inch skillet over moderate heat. Add the vegetable-spice
mixture and cook uncovered for 6 minutes,stirring constantly until the
onions and peppers are soft. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Discard the bay leaves. Stir in the milk, ketchup and bread crumbs. IN
a large bowl, combine the beef, pork, eggs and the bread crumbmixture.
Pack mixture into a greased 9 by 5 by 3 loaf pan. AT this point
themeatloaf can be sored in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours or
freeze upto 3 months. Bake the meatloaf uncovered for 50 to 55
minutes or until it is darkbrown and pulls away from the sides of the
