2 Tablespoon(s) Granulated Sugar
1 1/3 Cup(s) Flour
1/3 Cup(s) Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tablespoon(s) Baking powder, high
altitude 2 tsp.
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/2 Cup(s) Butter or margarine
1 Cup(s) Mini semisweet choc. chips
1/2 Cup(s) Milk
1 Cup(s) Heavy cream

<CatRescuer@AOL.COM>Sprinkle 2 Tblsp. sugar over fruit. Set aside.
Stir together next fivedry ingredients. Cut in butter slowly till
mixture resembles coarsecrumbs. Stir in chocolate chips. Add milk and
stir till moistened. On afloured surface, roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut
into 3" circles. Bake on agreased cookie sheet at 450x F for 10
minutes, or till puffed. Beatheavy cream and 1/4 c. sugar. Top
shortcakes. Yield: approximately 8.EAT-L DIGEST 10 JUNE 1996From the
