Ingredients:
1 1/2 Pound(s) Ground beef
2 Onion, chopped
1 Bell pepper, diced
3 Tablespoon(s) Chili powder
1 Tablespoon(s) Ground cumin
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
2 Whole tomatoes with thick
puree 28 ounces each
1 Red kidney beans, rinsed and
drained
1 Black beans, canned
1 Cup(s) Water
Directions:
Cook beef, onions and green pepper in a large wide-bottom pot
overmedium heat, breaking up chunks of meat with a wooden spoon, until
meatis no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Drain off any fat. Add chili
powder, cumin, and salt and cook 2 minutes, stirringconstantly, until
spices are fragrant. Add remaining ingredients, increase heat and
bring to a boil. Reduceheat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring
occasionally and breaking uptomatoes with a wooden spoon, until chili
thickens. Cool, then remove 2 cups for Huevos Rancheros recipe.Recipe
