1 10-oz biscuits
Ripe Strawberries
Confectioner's sugar, Confectioner's sugar
Oil for frying
Heat oil to 365 degrees. Halve biscuits and flatten into rounds
1/8-inchthick. Place a strawberry, coated with sugar, in center of each
round.Gather edge to the top and twist or pinch to seal. Fry in oil, a
few atat time, about 2 minutes, or until browned, turning occasionally.
Drain.Sift sugar generously over hot doughnuts and serve
