Ingredients:
1 1-lb oreo cookies
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla
2 Cup(s) Confectioner's sugar, Confectioner's sugar
3 EGGS, SEPARATED
2 Quart(s) ice cream
1/2 Cup(s) Margarine
1 Cup(s) Chopped nuts
2 Squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
Directions:
Grind or roll out cookies. Line a 9x13-inch pan with some of the
groundcookies & save the rest for top. Mix in saucepan the sugar,
chocolate,margarine, egg yolks, vanilla & salt. Cook just to boiling.
Cool. Beategg whites until stiff, add chopped nuts & fold into the
cooled mixture.Spread in pan on top of the cookie crumbs & freeze.
After this isfrozen, spread with 2 quarts of softened ice cream &
sprinkle with theremainder of the cookie crumbs. Freeze.MRS FRANKLIN
