Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
2 1/2 Cup(s) Uncooked quick-cooking oats
5 1/2 Cup(s) Sugar
1 Cup(s) Butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 Cup(s) Apple Butter
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in butter. Press
half of mixture into a greased 13- x 9-inch pan; top with apple
butter. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture, and press gently with
back of a spoon. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes or until lightly
browned. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 3 dozen. Notes : Freeze extras
and keep on hand for after-school snacks. Select tart, green-skinned
