Ingredients:
5 Cup(s) Peeled, sliced apples
3/4 Cup(s) Sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Ground cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/4 Cup(s) Water
1 Teaspoon(s) Vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon(s) Butter or margarine
softened
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1 Egg, slightly beaten
Directions:
Combine the first 7 ingredients; mix gently. Spoon into lightly
greased9-inch square baking pan; dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Set
aside.Combine remaining ingredients; mix well, and spoon over apple
mixture in9 equal portions (batter will spread during baking). Bake at
