Juice from beans
Chopped green chile, to
Pinch(s) Salt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Garlic powder
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Onion powder
Stewed tomatoes, cut up
Pinto or kidney beans
Serves: 5 Brown hamburger and onions; drain. Combine all
ingredients,including juices from beans and tomatoes, in large
stew-pot. Bring to aboil, reduce heat and simmer for at least 1/2 hour:
one hour would bebetter. Serve with grated Cheddar or Colby cheese on
top; servecrackers, bread and butter, or tortillas on the side for
dipping intothe chili. For Huevos: Lay a tortilla on a plate, top with
an egg or twocooked however you like, cover with some of this chili
(the more thebetter!!), top with cheese. Place in a warm oven or nuke
