Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) Oats, uncooked
1 1/2 Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
3/4 Cup(s) Margarine, melted
1 Cup(s) Brown Sugar, Frimly Packed
1 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt, optional
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Ground nutmeg
1 Cup(s) Applesauce
1/2 Cup(s) Chopped nuts
Directions:
Heat oven to 375* F. Grease 13x9-inch baking pan. Combine all
ingredients EXCEPT applesauce and nuts; mix until crumbly. Reserve 1
cup mixture. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake
15 minutes; cool. Spread applesauce over partially baked crust;
sprinkle with nuts. Top with resevered 1 cup oat mixture. Bake 13 to
15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack; cut into
2-inch squares. NOTES : These are really wonderful and easy. I used
