Ingredients:
1 Cup(s) Plus 2 t all purpose flour
1/8 Teaspoon(s) Nutmeg
1 Cup(s) Whole wheat flour
3 Tablespoon(s) Margarine, softened
2 Teaspoon(s) Sugar
1/2 Cup(s) Mashed banana
2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1/4 Cup(s) Lo fat vanilla yogurt
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
2 Tablespoon(s) Skim milk
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Ground cinnamon
Vegetable cooking spray
Directions:
Combine 1 c all purpose flour and next 6 ingredients; cut in
margarineuntil mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in banana and
yogurt. Addmilk; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough
out onto alightly floured surface; let rest 5 mins. Knead dough 4
times; addenough remaining flour to prevent dough from sticking to
hands. Rolldough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter.
Place on abaking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 450F for 8
minutes oruntil golden. Yield: 16 biscuits at about 87 cal each Source:
