Ingredients:
1 1/4 Cup(s) Flour, all-purpose
1/3 Cup(s) Yellow cornmeal
1 Tablespoon(s) Dill, finely chopped
2 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
3 Tablespoon(s) Vegetable shortening, chilld
1 Cup(s) Milk
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. With 2 knives or
yourfingers, cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles
coarsecrumbs. Add the milk, stirring with a fork, just until the
mixture holdstogether.With a large spoon, drop dumpling batter in 8
spoonfuls over the stew.Simmer over medium-low heat, covered, about 16
