Ingredients:
2 Cup(s) White cornmeal
3 Tablespoon(s) All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
2 Cup(s) Buttermilk
1 Egg
2 Tablespoon(s) Bacon drippings, or melted
Butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a large mixing bowl sift
togethercornmeal, with flour salt and baking soda. Add buttermilk, egg
anddrippings, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour
intogreased, hot 10-inch oven proof skillet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Servewarm, with butter.
