Ingredients:
1 Cup(s) Butter or margarine
1 Cup(s) Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup(s) Brown sugar, packed
2 Eggs
1 Tablespoon(s) Grated Orange Peel
2 Teaspoon(s) Grated lemon peel
2 1/2 Cup(s) All-Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking soda
1 Teaspoon(s) Ground cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Ground nutmeg
1 12-oz Dole raisins
1 8-oz Dole chopped dates
Directions:
Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, orange and
lemonpeel. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat into
buttermixture until blended. Stir in raisins and dates. Drop by
heapingtablespoon onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Spread slightly
with backof spoon or fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes. Cool
on wirerack. Makes about 4 dozen.From a collection of my mother's (Judy
